Our Tuition Fees are Tax Deductible.

We offer comprehensive, instructive and practical programs structured for people with or without formal training in the helping professions.

The courses are open to those who wish to study hypnotism as a career or for use within a career.
Video presentations, real client sessions, live demonstrations, and video monitoring practice are all part of the training.
Everyone will experience hypnosis and all students will hypnotize other class members.
Video monitoring supervised practice includes coaching in speech patterns, physical movements and personal mannerisms. Supervised workshops and video feedback will help you develop your skills and self-confidence.

As an Approved School by the prestigious American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (A.C.H.E.), we offer one of the most complete, comprehensive and organized training available.

At the completion of the training, our certified students are eligible for certification by the American Council of Hypnotism Examiners (A.C.H.E.).

We offer a total of 450 hours of classroom instruction from self awareness to specialized training and of interest to a wide variety of people.

A.C.H.E. CERTIFIED HYPNOTHERAPIST PROGRAM requires completion of a total of two hundred (200) hours of classroom instruction.

The  A.C.H.E. CERTIFIED CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPIST PROGRAM Advanced Master Courses requires completion of a total of three hundred (300) hours of classroom instruction.

The  additional 100 hours requirement to obtain the HTIA  CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPIST  CERTIFICATION consists of:

HYP 601 Hypnotherapy and the Paranormal, who deals with the Psyche and
HYP 602 Physiological Stress Release who deals with the Soma.

Hypnosis 101

An Introduction (18 hrs)

A two-day course open to anyone fascinated with the power of the mind.
Visualization, imagery and the like, we all heard the importance of doing it.
This course will explain how it works, how come we experience so many things we perceive we did not “visualize”, and what to do consciously to get what we really want to have.

Hypnosis is consciously going into a trance. As stated by a Graduate, being in a trance is High Voltage. Since some reports believe we are in a trance more than 80% of the time, it is very important to know how it works. By understanding the connection between the Conscious Mind and the Subconscious Mind, we are then able to make it work for ourselves and for the benefit of others

Certified Hypnotherapist Program

Pre-requisite: HYP 101

Program Courses: HYP 201, 202, 203 and 204
(must be taken in that order).

Part 1
Training in Hypnosis (100 hrs)

The 2 first courses are at becoming proficient in hypnosis and the valuable applications of the trance state.

Hyp 201 - Professional Hypnotism

Hyp 202 - Hypnotherapy Principals & Practice

Part 2
Training in Using Hypnosis to Facilitate Therapy (100 hrs)

The next 2 courses are training in Regression Therapy: going from effects back to cause.

The causes being from past lives, conception, in the womb, early childhood, a few years, or to only a few days past. The Therapist will be trained at helping their client, from children to teenagers to adult to seniors.
In her 23 years as a full time Hypnotherapist, Institute Director Anny Slegten has learned that the client knows everything, and the therapist knows nothing. Sharing what she learned, Anny ‘s mission is to teach her students how to help their clients access their own information at a subconscious level. Thoroughly knowing hypnosis inside and out facilitates the process. The training gives the graduates the ability to help their clients accomplish what the client wants to improve or resolve.

Hyp 203 - Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy

Hyp 204 - Healing with Hypnotherapy

Upon completion of this program, student is eligible for Hypnotism Training Institute of Alberta Certification and award to the designation of Certified Hypnotherapist.
As well as eligibility to be Certified Hypnotherapist by the American council of Hypnotist Examiner (A.C.H.E.)

Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist Program
Advanced Master Courses

Pre-requisite:
HYP 101, 201, 202, 203, 204
 

Did not take your hypnotherapist training with us?  We will be happy to have you join us. When registering for the courses, kindly let us know where you took your hypnotherapy training. Equivalencies will be considered.

A Continuing Education Certificate will be presented to you at the end of either course.

Program courses:
HYP 601 Hypnotherapy and the Paranormal,
which deals with the Psyche
HYP 602 Physiological Stress Release
which deals with the Soma.

Anny Slegten is often asked how come these courses are required to fulfill the additional 100 hrs of training to obtain the HTIA CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPIST CERTIFICATION. "When in a trance, a person becomes super-conscious. It is important that the Hypnotherapist is well aware of the situations at hand, being Spiritual or Physiological."

The Soul talks, and so does the Body. It comes to a point when these two parts merge.

HYP 601 and HYP 602 are in fact one course given in 2 parts, and taken in that order when possible.

Become a Hypno-Doula and Learn Hypno-Anaesthesia.

Certified Hypno-Doula Program

(66 hrs)

HYP 301 - Antenatal Hypnosis & Local Anaesthesia a two day course.

The first day is taught by Dr Brown, M.D.
The second day by Anny Slegten

HYP 302 – Hypno-Doula and Hypno-Anaesthesia is full week course.
This course is taught by Anny Slegten and assisted by Beth Smolyk, R.N.

Please note:
Although HYP 101, HYP 201, 202, 203, 204 and HYP 301 must be taken before attending this course, the Hypno-Doula certificate will only be issued after attending HYP 601 Hypnotherapy and the Paranormal and HYP 602 Physiological Stress Release.

Having been raised in Congo (formerly Belgian), Anny Slegten observed the difference of birthing experiences between the “White Women” and the very natural birthing experiences of the “Black Women”. Becoming aware of the need to put the birthing experience back to what it really is, Anny has put together a program to help make the birthing process natural again.

The use of hypnosis for delivery requires only being with the Mother at the time of the delivery.

In her years in private practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Anny helped her clients in the countless physical and emotional issues the results of not being able to conceive as well as the results of an upcoming birth or the birth of a child.

The birth of a Baby is also the birth or re-birth of a Mother, a Father, a Family.

It has been reported that babies are much calmer and content when the Mother has private hypnotherapy sessions, resolving some personal issues before the birth of her baby.

Therefore, an outstanding Hypno-Doula is one who has taken the best training possible in both Hypnosis and Doula.

Attila's Stage Hypnotist Master Course
(50 hrs or more)

Pre-requisite: Certified Hypnotherapist or equivalent.

This is “Hypnosis Beyond Therapy”
Atila's Stage Hypnosis Master Course

Stage Hypnosis is the best known aspect of hypnosis and knowing this modality can be beneficial to anyone in the profession. Physicians using hypnosis reported great results with their Patients since using some of advanced techniques Attila teaches. Hypnotherapists reported doubling their income since adding Stage Hypnosis to the services they offer.

For best results, knowing hypnosis inside out is the only way to go. It gives self confidence knowing what one does. Being a Certified Hypnotherapist helps at resolving many situation that may arise during a stage hypnosis show. Since the unexpected may arise at any time, this training also helps one to think very quickly on the spur of a moment.
