Anny Slegten Director

Reiki Master / Teacher,

Born in Ypres, Belgium, a beautiful town in the Flanders fields, where the poppies grow. Anny learned the skills of auto-suggestions in Congo [formerly Belgian], where she lived until coming to Canada. In Canada, she began helping friends privately. To-day, she has built her personal interest and natural affinity to helping people, Success and More, Hypnotherapy and Motivation Clinic into a thriving counseling practice. Anny is presently Director of the Hypnotism Training Institute of Alberta and holds many certifications including that of a Master Hypnotist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Additional techniques used to enhance her work are neuro-linguistic programming, rebirthing, dream therapy, age regression therapy, pre and peri-natal therapy, past life therapy, spirit releasement therapy, kinesiology and post incident stress syndrome. Anny continues to expand her knowledge through courses and the continuous process of learning from private sessions with clients. Anny recently completed her training in Remote Viewing Technologies and is now taking further courses in English and in French specializing in hypnosis for childbirth and hypno-anaesthesia.

A Reiki Master:

Anny teaches the four Degrees of Traditional Japanese Reiki as well as Reiki as practiced in North America. She was formally introduced to Life Force Energy training in Ontario, Canada in 1976 and was initiated into Reiki in Alberta in March 1992 and was initiated as a Reiki Master/Teacher in 1995.

Anny is grateful to all the Reiki Masters who helped her in her search for the source of the Usui System of Natural Healing known to us as Reiki. In September 1999 Anny attended the Japanese Reiki Techniques training in Detroit with Frank Arjava Petter Reiki Master/Teacher from Japan and author of many excellent books on Reiki. In May 2006 Anny completed Komyo Reiki Shinpiden given in Edmonton by Reverend Hyakuten Inamoto of the Koato Reiki Kai (Kyoto Center), Japan and is accredited as Shihan/Teacher.

Anny is an Honorary Lifetime Member, Touchpoint Reflexology *Kinesthetics; Past Member, Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society: Past Member, Association of Past Life Research and Therapies.

Anny is fluently bilingual in both French and English.

Born and raised in Hungary, Attila has performed in France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, USA, and Canada. Since 1977 he has presented 332 shows per year. Attila was also honoured by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE) in 2005 at the 20th International Hypnotherapy Conference with a "Special Recognition Award".

Dr. David Brown M.B., Ch B

Dr David Brown was born in Oxfordshire and then educated in and around Oxford, England. Hypnosis, as a way to help people, interested Dr. Brown in 1968 while he was studying biofeedback systems in medical school. After moving to Canada he attended courses in medical and dental hypnosis in Saskatoon. From 1975 his experience with obstetric hypnosis expanded and started to include local anaesthesia for surgery, chronic pain, infertility and phobias.

Pat is a member of the Samson Cree Nation in Hobbema, Alberta. Pat is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Clinical Hypnotherapist as well as a Master in Hypnosis and Complementary Therapies.

Norm Shaw

Norm Shaw is a successful graduate of the Hypnosis Training Institute of Alberta. A Clinical Hypnotherapist and Stage Hypnotist, and owner of Hear by Request. Norm is a winner of the Chamber of Commerce Home Based Business of the Year Award. His Hear by Request company is the Official DJ Company of the Juno Awards Red Carpet Party and Norm has been the Co-Host of the Red Carpet Party for the fourth time in as many years.

Beth Smolyk RN

Born in Alberta Canada, Beth is a Registered Nurse who has worked in many fields of nursing since graduating in 1969 and is currently working in the capacity of Geriatric Outreach Nurse for Psychogeriatrics. This is proving to be a very interesting milieu for a Hypnotherapist!! Even before knowing about Hypnotherapy, she developed her own style of assisting women through a calm and natural delivery. She was using hypnosis without realizing it. She became interested in Hypnotherapy when she needed help with some psychic issues that there was simply no other source of healing available for and became hooked! In July 1996 Beth completed her Certification in Hypnotherapy at the Hypnotism Training Institute of Alberta and truly believes that this is "the most effective method of healing I have ever encountered". She also has her Third Degree in Traditional Japanese Reiki through Anny's Reiki Training Centre of Canada.
